Week 14 - Project Conclusion: Successful Completion and Gratitude to Stakeholders
In the fourteenth and final week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we successfully concluded our efforts with the submission of all project materials. This update outlines the completion and finalization of key deliverables, including awareness videos, posters, FM channel messages, menu preparations, and food waste reports analysis. Additionally, we express our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the success of this project.
1. Finalizing Deliverables with Dr. Thushanthi's Feedback:
As we approached the end of our project, we eagerly awaited
Dr. Thushanthi's feedback on our deliverables, which included awareness videos,
posters, FM channel messages, menus, and food waste reports analysis. With her
valuable comments, we addressed any identified issues and finalized these
materials to ensure their effectiveness in raising awareness and promoting
responsible food waste management.
2. Successful Completion of Awareness Videos, Posters, FM Channel Messages, and Menus:
During the final week, we successfully completed the
production of engaging awareness videos, visually impactful posters, persuasive
FM channel messages, and well-curated menus. Each of these deliverables is
aimed at inspiring the employees at MAS Intimate Pannala to actively participate
in reducing food waste and adopting sustainable practices.
3. Comprehensive Food Waste Reports Analysis:
Throughout the project, we meticulously analyzed the food
waste reports collected from MAS Intimate Pannala. This analysis provided
valuable insights into the organization's food waste generation patterns,
facilitating the formulation of data-driven strategies to minimize waste.
4. Meeting to Discuss Final Output:
As part of the final week activities, we conducted a meeting
to review the overall project output. We assessed the impact of our initiatives
and ensured that all deliverables were aligned with the project's objectives.
This final evaluation reaffirmed the positive impact our project has made in
fostering responsible food waste management practices.
5. Submission of Project Materials to MAS Intimates:
With a sense of accomplishment, we visited MAS Intimates to
formally submit all project materials. We presented the awareness videos,
posters, FM channel messages, menus, and food waste reports analysis, all of
which will play a vital role in continuing the momentum of the project.

Week 13 Update: Project Review, Finalized Posters and Audio Messages, Menu Preparations
In the thirteenth week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we made significant strides in various aspects of the project. This update highlights our meeting with Dr. Thushanthi to discuss progress and challenges, the finalization of poster topics, the completion of audio message recordings, and the ongoing preparations for menus and posters.
Project Review Meeting with Dr. Thushanthi:
During Week 13, we had an important project review meeting
with Dr. Thushanthi. We discussed the overall progress of the initiative,
shared the achievements, and also openly addressed the difficulties we have
been facing, including the challenges in scheduling a meeting with her in the
previous weeks. Her feedback and support continue to be instrumental in guiding
our efforts.
Finalization of Poster Topics:
As part of our efforts to raise awareness about food waste
management, we finalized the topics for the posters. These posters will
visually convey key messages and tips for reducing food waste to the employees
at MAS Intimate Pannala. With the topics now determined, we are moving forward
with the design and creation of these informative visuals.
Completion of Audio Message Recordings:
During Week 13, we successfully completed the recording
process for the FM channel audio messages. These messages have been carefully
crafted to effectively communicate the importance of responsible food waste
management and encourage behavioral changes among the listeners. We are eager
to broadcast these messages and reach a wider audience.
Ongoing Menu and Poster Preparations:
Simultaneously, our team has been actively preparing both
menus and posters. For menu planning, we are working collaboratively with the
food committee and other stakeholders to design menus that reduce food waste
while ensuring the nutritional needs and preferences of the employees are met.
In parallel, we are also designing and creating the posters to visually
reinforce the key messages and drive awareness within the organization.
Week 13 of our food waste management project marked
substantial progress, including a productive meeting with Dr. Thushanthi,
finalization of poster topics, successful completion of audio message
recordings, and continued preparations for menus and posters. As we move
forward, we are excited to implement these initiatives and further our mission
of promoting sustainable food waste management practices at MAS Intimate
Pannala.
