8th week update: Preparations, Communication, and Video Production Progress

In the eighth week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we focused on preparations for the upcoming visit and continued our efforts in video production. Despite a setback with the cancellation of the scheduled visit, we remained proactive and engaged in various activities. This update highlights our interactions with key individuals, progress in video production, and preparations for future initiatives.

1. Meeting with Mifra Miss:

During this week, we had a productive meeting with Mifra Miss, where we sought her guidance and instructions regarding our project. We discussed the latest developments, shared our plans, and received valuable insights to enhance our efforts in managing food waste effectively.

2. Finalizing Interview Questions:

In collaboration with our team, we meticulously crafted a set of interview questions to gather comprehensive information about MAS Intimate Pannala's food waste management practices. Once finalized, we promptly sent them to Madam for permission to conduct the interviews and gather insights from the relevant stakeholders.

3. Visit Preparations and Cancellation:

In anticipation of the scheduled visit on 05/26, we diligently prepared the visit agenda, interview questions, and other necessary arrangements. However, due to unavoidable circumstances at MAS Intimates, the visit had to be canceled. While disappointed, we understand that unforeseen events can occur, and we remain flexible in adapting our plans accordingly.

4. Revised Activity Lineup:

As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we thoroughly reviewed and made necessary corrections to the activity lineup. This revised version was then sent to relevant parties for their input and approval. By ensuring accuracy and clarity, we aim to enhance the effectiveness of our project implementation.

5. Ongoing Video Production:

Progress in video production continued during the eighth week. Our team dedicated time and effort to capture and document various aspects of food waste management at MAS Intimate Pannala. We filmed essential processes, interviews, and demonstrations to create informative and engaging videos that will help raise awareness about sustainable waste management practices.

6. Preparation for FM Channel Messages:

In line with our objective to disseminate information effectively, we started preparing FM channel messages related to food waste management. These messages will be broadcasted to reach a wider audience and encourage behavioral changes towards reducing food waste.

Although the scheduled visit was canceled, we remained proactive in our project activities during the eighth week. Through discussions with Mifra Miss, finalization of interview questions, ongoing video production, and preparations for FM channel messages, we continue to make progress in promoting sustainable food waste management practices. We remain optimistic and committed to our mission, and we look forward to upcoming opportunities to further advance our project at MAS Intimate Pannala.
