In the tenth week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we witnessed significant progress on various fronts. This update highlights our productive meeting with Dr. Thushanthi, preparations for FM channel scripts, continued video production, and communication with Mr. Sandaruwan regarding their food committee.
1. Productive Meeting with Dr. Thushanthi:
During Week 10, we had a fruitful meeting
with Dr. Thushanthi to discuss the project's status and future directions. We
shared our recent achievements, challenges faced, and sought her expert
guidance on addressing potential roadblocks. Her valuable input and support
continue to play a vital role in ensuring the project's success.
2. Preparing FM Channel Scripts:
A significant focus during this week was the
preparation of FM channel scripts. Building upon the finalized message topics,
our team worked diligently to develop compelling scripts that would effectively
engage the audience and promote actionable steps in food waste reduction. The
aim is to broadcast these messages soon to raise awareness and encourage
positive behavioral changes.
3. Ongoing Video Production:
Continuing our efforts from the previous
weeks, the video-making process remained in full swing during Week 10. Our team
meticulously captured and documented various aspects of food waste management
at MAS Intimate Pannala. These videos will serve as crucial educational tools,
demonstrating sustainable practices and inspiring others to adopt similar
initiatives.
4. Communication with Mr. Sandaruwan:
In line with our commitment to collaborate
with key stakeholders, we had a productive conversation with Mr. Sandaruwan
about their food committee. We exchanged insights and ideas to explore
potential synergies between our project's objectives and the committee's
efforts. This collaboration presents an exciting opportunity to strengthen food
waste management initiatives within the organization.
Week 10 of our food waste management project
showcased substantial progress and fruitful collaborations. The meeting with
Dr. Thushanthi reaffirmed the project's direction, while the preparation of FM
channel scripts and ongoing video production reinforce our commitment to
raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices. Engaging with Mr.
Sandaruwan's food committee opens new avenues for collective efforts in waste
reduction. As we move forward, we remain optimistic about the positive impact
our project will have at MAS Intimate Pannala and beyond.
