Week 12 Update: Challenges, Poster Ideas, Menu Planning, and FM Channel Messages

During the twelfth week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we faced some challenges in meeting with Thushanthi Madam. Nevertheless, we continued to make progress by collecting ideas for posters, engaging in menu planning discussions, and recording FM channel messages. This update highlights the key activities and developments during this week.

Challenges in Meeting with Thushanthi Madam:

In Week 12, we faced difficulties in scheduling a meeting with Thushanthi Madam despite our best efforts. We attempted to arrange a meeting on two to three occasions, but due to conflicting schedules or unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to connect with her. We remain committed to finding a suitable time for this crucial meeting to seek her valuable insights and guidance.

Poster Idea Collection:

During this week, we focused on collecting ideas for creating informative posters. These posters will play a crucial role in raising awareness about food waste management among the MAS Intimate Pannala community. We brainstormed creative and impactful designs to visually convey the importance of reducing food waste and the steps individuals can take to contribute to the cause.

Menu Planning Discussions:

As part of our ongoing collaboration with MAS Intimate Pannala, we engaged in discussions about menu planning. By working closely with the food committee and other stakeholders, we aim to design menus that minimize food waste while still meeting the nutritional needs and preferences of the employees.

FM Channel Message Recording:

Despite limited time availability, we managed to record some of the FM channel messages. These messages serve as an important medium to reach a wide audience and inspire behavioral change towards responsible food waste management. While we were unable to record all the messages during this week, we are committed to completing the recording process in the upcoming weeks.

Week 12 posed its share of challenges with the inability to meet Thushanthi Madam on a few attempts. However, we continued to make progress in other areas, including collecting ideas for posters, engaging in menu planning discussions, and recording FM channel messages. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to overcoming challenges and persistently working towards our mission of promoting sustainable food waste management practices at MAS Intimate Pannala.
